The European Coworking Assembly embodies a European identity in the broadest sense, grounded in the five core values of coworking: community, openness, sustainability, collaboration, and accessibility. 

We are a diverse network of independent coworkers, coworking spaces, federations and alliances, all committed to these foundational principles. Our network spans Europe, creating a unified community within the coworking movement, working together on the issues that matter most.

We believe that being a member means actively participating in governance. Otherwise, membership is mere consumerism. While directories of members and displaying logos on websites are compelling, coworking has matured beyond these features. We achieve this by:

• Use technology to organise and support projects.
• Form strategic partnerships and alliances.
• Participate in coalitions and projects funded by the EU, national, regional, or local bodies where our expertise is valued.
• Support and promote communication about coworking through media and other channels.
• Explore the best business practices to achieve our shared goals.
