The Project
Project Overview
RES-MOVE (Resources on the Move) is a multinational initiative aimed at promoting the inclusion of migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers in the European labor market. The project explores the potential of coworking and collaborative spaces as hubs for professional integration, offering tailored support to freelance workers, artisans, emerging entrepreneurs, and knowledge workers from migrant backgrounds. Through innovative approaches and inclusive practices, RES-MOVE seeks to bridge the gap between the skills of migrants and the needs of the labor market across Europe.
Key Objectives:
- Labor market integration: Enhance the employability of at least 1,100 migrants, with a focus on gender balance (50% women), by facilitating access to job and entrepreneurial opportunities.
- Development of Inclusive Coworking Spaces (ICS): Establish at least 11 coworking spaces across 10 EU countries, providing training, resources, and networking opportunities for migrants.
- Gender inclusion: Promote the inclusion of migrant women, ensuring equal access to employment and business opportunities, and addressing the specific challenges they face in the labor market.
- Entrepreneurship support: Provide training and mentoring for migrants interested in entrepreneurship, helping them launch and grow their businesses.
Expected Outcomes
- Establish a Transnational Network of Inclusive Coworking Spaces, creating a sustainable model of integration for migrants across Europe.
- Build innovative pathways to employment and entrepreneurship for migrants, ensuring long-term social and economic inclusion.
- Deliver training programs, workshops, and language courses tailored to the needs of migrants, equipping them with the skills required to thrive in their new communities.
